RPG's
I absolutely love RPG's. Video games have been my favorite pass time for the past 12 years. "Why?", you might ask. It is because RPG's aren't about pushing buttons real fast to avoid dying. Most RPG's have excellent storylines and are good for relaxation. I believe, for the most part, that RPG's have the potential to become a more important source of entertainment than modern films. My absolute favorite RPG,
without a doubt, is Xenogears. This game had only a few features that made
it shy from perfect. The story was excellent, involving themes of a
religious satire, love, sci-fi, and philosophy. It contained great
character depth with an intelligently written script. The music was
excellent, score written by Yasunori Mitsuda who in my opinion is one of the
greatest influences in video game music in this time. The Here is a list of my top 20 favorite RPG's (in order from most to least favorite): 1. Xenogears 2. Suikoden 2 3. Chrono Trigger 4. Final Fantasy IV 5. Final Fantasy VI 6. Final Fantasy VII 7. Chrono Cross 8. Final Fantasy IX 9. Final Fantasy Tactics 10. Suikoden 11. Uncharted Waters: New Horizons 12. Paladin's Quest 13. Secret Of Evermore 14. Destiny Of An Emperor 15. Breath Of Fire 16. Secret Of Mana 17. Vandal Hearts 18. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest 19. Lufia 20. Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night
